Where You Can Find Contemporary Art On Côte d’Azur.

Dear all, Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.

I hope everyone had great holidays. I spent mine traveling around Côte d’Azur.

For the blog

And here are some tips for you:

First of all, I suggest to check out locations and events within the program “Marseille is the Culture Capital 2013”. It’s on from January 11. All details you will find here.

Cannes

Loved the Maeght Foundation and the exhibition by Fabrice Hyber. The location is beautiful. The Catalan architect Josep Lluís Sert created a building that is flooded with natural light and merges into the landscape.

Nice

I couldn’t get enough of the shades of blue in the area. The Museum of Modern Art in Nice was another highlight of my trip as I am very much drawn to Yves Klein (he was born in Nice and worked most of his life there) and his appreciation for color.
