Tina Kaplár is our regular blogger in Budapest. She studied art history and English literature. Active in the field of contemporary art, she is obsessed with socially and environmentally concerned artworks and projects. With interests in the visual art scenes of the CEE region and architecture in general, she publishes interviews and reports in several magazines including ArtGuideEast and Octogon architecture&design. Since 2012 she has been the co-organizer of ARTplacc, the second largest contemporary art fair and festival in Hungary.
Her most recent project as a co-curator was setting up a temporary gallery as a joint project with the largest concert venue in Budapest. Its mission is to bring emerging trends in contemporary art closer to new audiences.
