For the exhibition >Legends< at @galerie_3, Sophie Dvořák created the in situ installation “Continental Drift”, which is composed of seven collages of precisely cut out legends of all maps of the continents and blown up elements out of the same atlas, arranged and composed directly on the wall. The work plays with the scale and common habits of categorization through mappings and offers a new mode of perceiving a dynamic world in constant movement.
